Cropfest Cambridge Registration

Hey all, hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Cropfest Cambridge  registration opens this Wednesday July 18!!  Lisa Furtney , owner of Scrapfest, is hosting one mega crop not to be missed on November 2 to 3, 2012

Imagine spending 36 hours of cropping (this year's theme is Pyjama Party--how perfect is that!), doing a little shopping (2 fabulous stores will be on-site,  The Scrapping Bug and The Art House Studio), and sampling some classes (teachers are Karen Ellis and myself) .  Sprinkled over the weekend is also a scrumptious cupcake buffet, Saturday lunch , goodie bag, mak'n takes and so much more.  I know November is a long way off, but it's never too late to make plans for a scrappy weekend (remember, Scrapfest crop sells out within days of opening registration).

You can read all about Cropfest and how to register here.

I have a few workshops and here is a sneak peek:

My first mini workshop is on Friday night and we will be making this fun and inter-active Boxful of Memories- can you believe this little project has 27 nooks and crannies to capture all your photos and journaling! We'll
push the fun factor over the top by embellishing with peek-a-boo frames, pockets, and shadow frames.  This would make an awesome Year-in-Review box that would be treasured for a long time.

Boxful of Memories workshop: Friday Nov 2, 7 to 8 pm

Cropfest being in November I can't help but get giddy for Christmas.  I have a few workshops planned that will be perfect for upcoming Christmas memories or if you are still playing a little catch up, photos from past Christmas seasons.

The 2nd mini workshop on Saturday is a project template that I have designed called the Onion Envelope. This is like a card, mini-album, inter-active paper craft project all in one.  Unfold and reveal each layer of delightful holiday memories.   This would be a perfect little Christmas stocking stuffer gift idea.  I think once you make one, you can't stop making one for all your friends and family.

Onion Envelope Workshop: Saturday Nov 3, 9 to 10 am
The 3rd and last workshop involves a little cardio scrapbooking.  You know those page making and card making muscles you have?...yes those one, well why not give them a little workout?  This workshop is jammed with lots of product and techniques playing with cheerful pattern paper, diecuts, and glittery elements.  Your class kit comes with all the supplies to finish two double page spreads and 4 Christmas cards!

Christmas Layout and Cards workshop: Saturday Nov 3,1:30 to 3:30 pm
Well that is sort of my classes in a nutshell, I am thrilled to be part of this inaugural crop and I hope to see you there!
