Birthday Album

Hello! did you know that Scrapfest Kitchener is just weeks away, yippee!   I am teaching a few classes again and very excited to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new people.  My classes sold out within the first hour of opening registration,  I am truly humbled and honoured for the tremendous response and I cannot wait to get crafty with you!

So don't forget to mark April 12 and 13th in your calendar---> hope to see you at Scrapfest!

Today I wanted to share with you a fun little birthday mini album.  The album construction is the same as the Disney album that I will be teaching at Scrapfest.  The basic construction of the album uses file folders.  I chose file folders because these supplies are readily available making it easy to recreate the album for other occasions such as vacations, wedding, new baby etc.  This mini can hold 20+ photos which is wonderful way to capture your story.  The album is put together in such a way that can be expandable if you like to use lots of 3D embellies.  I used mainly October Afternoon's Midway papers.

Sometimes people shy away from making minis thinking they need to specially crop their photos into mini sizes.  I don't like to spend a lot of time photo editing either, rather spend the time doing the fun crafty stuff.  This album has many regular sized photos.

There are two very large pockets for you tuck in lot of fun tags.

Thanks for dropping by,  hope you have a wonderful week!
