I am not wishing the last few weeks of summer away too fast but the reality is it's back to school time again! With a new backpack, class supplies and fashion clothes checked off the list, we only have locker accessories to shop for. There are some super cute locker decorations, I guess this is a popular trend lately with tweens/teens. If only Ikea (hint hint Ikea designers) would come out with cute locker chandeliers!
So how about you? are you itching to get back to your scrap table and start your creative juices flowing again. Scrapfest Oshawa registration starts this Wednesday August 21!!! I am thrilled to be invited back to teach again in the company of some amazing teachers. You will love the variety of classes , there is something for everyone!
I have 4 workshops that I am teaching in Oshawa this Fall , I have uploaded peeks in a slide show onto Youtube, they are on the right hand side column of this blog --------->
Two layouts workshops are both in keeping with my mega layouts workshop format (class kit is loaded to create 5 double pages). I hope to inspire you with double page design concepts and embellishing ideas by adding in texture and layers using diecuts, chipboard, ribbon, lace, bling and anything else in 'my scrapbook pantry' .
Everyday Memories features the Simple Stories 24/7 paper collections. This line is so fresh, fun and versatile to scrap your memories from big milestones, vacations to just everyday life.
Oh Baby Joy! features Echo Park's adorable baby collections. The baby girl and boy collections are very similar, I designed the girl and boy layouts side by side so they could be taught simultaneously. Whether you are a new mom, a proud Nana or a mom who started scrapbooking after their child(ren)'s baby phase, this workshop is perfect to capture sweet kisses, cuddles, baby firsts, and precious baby moments.
For card makers the Ultimate Countdown to Christmas with Echo Park papers may tickle your fancy. Echo Park's This and That Christmas is gorgeous with traditional red/green patterns with vintage images of Santa. In this class we'll have fun creating a Christmas buffet at your very own work station made up of pretty pattern papers, sticker diecuts, jute, lace, bling, tinsel and ribbon. Your class kit is brimming to create a plethora (25!) of festive cards and tags.
For mini album makers the Boo-ti-ful Halloween workshop will keep you busy with learning and mastering a very cool folding and construction technique to make a wonderful table top display album. After the workshop I think hope you'll be inspired to make more mini's in other themes!
Hope to see you in Oshawa!
Have a wonderful day!
