Christmas excitement...

The tree is decorated, the stockings are hung, the cards have been written and sent out, the treats have been baked, the shopping is finished, and just a little more wrapping to do...phew! I think I need a vacation after the holidays lol!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!  I'll be signing off this blog for a couple of weeks and when I return I hope to inspire you with a few projects that have been on the 'back burner' but I do have one last holiday project to share with you...

Here is a 3D Christmas Circle album kit.  It's a beautiful 3D album to record all your special holiday memories.  I know you will be taking plenty of photos in the next few days and this would be a perfect project for them.  The kit includes gorgeous engraved specialty papers, felt embellishments, stickers, and scalloped circle pages.  There are a handful left at the store.

Even after the Christmas tree is down, you can keep enjoying your holiday celebration with this displayed on your table.  It also folds up nicely for storage and you can take it out year after year.  It would also make a beautiful gift for those visiting family and friends, you could make this and send it to them as a reminder of their visit with you.

Warm wishes for a wonderful Holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Waiting for Santa and 7 Gypsies Tray

Well, we wished for a little snow and we have some, although I hear some areas just north of Toronto are really getting hit hard, stay safe and warm-better yet, stay indoors and hunker down in your craft space!

Today I'd like to share with you a really quick and easy home decor piece I created with the 7 Gypsies photo tray using the beautiful Waiting for Santa paper collection from Webster's pages.  I love creating these trays!  They are really easy to make and the best part is that it just take a little adhesive to decorate the section so you can re-use your tray from season to season or change it up whenever you like!

This paper caught my eye and I thought it would be perfect for the base.  When you cut the paper to six 4 x 6 sections and you get the perfect amount of pattern accents in each square!

Now all you need are your embellishments.

I chose 4 additional double-sided pattern paper from Webster's Pages.  I love both sides and it was so hard to choose!

Here is my finished tray.  I love the Tim Holt'z reindeer flight, iron gate and holly dies.  I included a winter tag by Melissa Frances- the snowman matches the paper beautifully.

The rest of the elements are pattern accents trimmed from the paper collection.

Lots of pattern paper leftover to complete another 12 x 12 page.

Scrapping it Forward

I feel very blessed in this journey we call life.  I would love to pay it forward and I hope you can support me to 'scrap it forward' to help make this holiday season a little more magical for those who could use our help.

This Saturday I will be bringing in a boxful of scrappy projects, layouts, cards etc.  Some of these are layout kit samples, class samples, projects samples for magazine pubs, or just projects never been seen outside of my scrap room put together for fun.  I will be selling these projects at very nominal prices (and if you feel like paying more I will be just giddy with appreciation!).

100% of all sale proceeds will be donated to the Chum City Christmas Wish Foundation.

I had a lot of fun crafting and it would be pure icing on the cake if it results into helping this awesome charity.  Here are some peeks at what is for sale:

2 Page Sample Layouts $4
These are 2 page finished layouts.  You may just need to use some Undu to remove the white photo placement mats on some of the samples.  Or you could simply adhere your photos over them.

All cards and accordion cards $2 each

Here are some cards of different themes.  There are some fun accordion style cards for the Moms who have everything but would be so appreciative of receiving this with your personal message.

Altered projects $4, Mini Albums $10

Various projects, albums, decorated cigar boxes, onion envelopes etc. are $4 and up.

Thank you! from the bottom of my heart.  These items will be at the store for a bit until they are sold, hopefully that will not be for too long :)
